My Approach

My approach blends Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support thoughtful, lasting change. In our work together, we slow things down enough to notice what’s happening beneath the surface—your inner parts, patterns, and nervous system responses—while staying focused on the values and goals that matter most to you. Sessions are collaborative, intentional, and empowering, helping you move forward with greater clarity, self-trust, and resilience.

Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that helps you understand the different “parts” of yourself—thoughts, emotions, and habits that influence how you respond to stress and pressure. Rather than judging or suppressing these parts, IFS encourages curiosity and compassion, which will help you manage stress more effectively, make clearer decisions, and live a more resilient life.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a therapeutic modality that focuses on building psychological flexibility—the ability to notice your thoughts and emotions without letting them control your actions. ACT encourages mindfulness, values-driven decision-making, and practical strategies to manage stress, stay focused under pressure, and move toward the goals that matter most to you.

About Me.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working with high-achieving high school students, college students, young adults, and athletes who struggle with perfectionism, internal pressure, people-pleasing, and relationship patterns. During therapy, I help clients better understand themselves, develop emotional resilience, and build healthier, more authentic connections.

I also integrate mind-body practices from my training as an E-RYT 500 yoga instructor, supporting clients in building emotional regulation, mental clarity, and resilience. I have a particular interest in mental performance and work with individuals, athletes, and students seeking to strengthen focus, confidence, and stress management.

I’m a certified RESET instructor, offering evidence-based strategies to enhance mental performance and resilience. Before moving to Wilmington, I spent nearly a decade in Austin working in mental health and wellness, and I currently serve as Director of Counseling and Chair of the Wellness Department at St. Andrew’s School.

What led you to become a pschotherapist? There is so much power and healing in being able to share your story, your experience and your voice.  Growing up as a nationally competitive gymnast, my story centered around perfection and control. I spent hundreds of hours dedicated to delivering a flawless routine at the highest level. I learned the importance of hard work, strength, mental performance and grit; however, I also learned limiting beliefs that attached my worth to my performance. Through storytelling, mindfulness based-therapy and somatic experiences like yoga, I accessed healing and dove into the lifelong journey of personal growth and care.  I want to hear your story. I want to help you experience deep emotions and explore your relationships, while also building awareness of the ingrained patterns that stop you from living as your authentic self.

What is your fee? I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation call so we can talk through your goals, answer questions, and see if working together feels like a good fit. The initial intake session, which last 75 minutes, is $170. Ongoing therapy sessions, which last 55 minutes, are $150.

Do you offer sliding scale pricing? I offer a sliding-scale rate to a limited number of clients at a time. Please mention any interest in these spots to learn about availability when reaching out.

Do you currently take insurance? Yes. I have a select number of spaces for clients using Aenta and Bluegrass Blue Shield. I also accept private pay via debit or credit card, as well as Health Savings Accounts. I’m happy to provide superbills that you may submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so I encourage you to check with your insurance provider to understand your benefits.

Are you virtual only? Yes. A full virtual psychotherapy practice offers you the convenience of accessing therapy from the comfort of you own home, work or on the go - eliminating travel time and making sessions more flexible.

Is there anything else you would like your clients to know? Therapy is not a linear process. There will be high points and break throughs, and there will be periods of stagnation and frustration. The time we spend together will serve as both a safe place to truly feel and to understand your experiences and emotions.  This process will take time, and so finding the right fit for a therapist is important. If it sounds like I would be a good fit for you, I would be honored to meet and learn how I can help you.
